About Us
Dawn’s Designs & Invitations, etc. is a graphic design firm based in St. Louis, MO that specializes in creating custom designs at an affordable price.
DD&I, etc. began with its founder, Dawn Richards, doing side jobs for her co-workers, family, and friends. She would take on small projects such as wedding invitations, business cards, slide shows, and flyers for events at work and church. As time passed and she gained more experience, she began to dabble in semi-professional work by designing CD covers. This gave her the desire to grow and take on more projects, and she soon discovered that she was able to create the same types of designs that other companies were charging upwards of $500.00 for less than half that cost.
At DD&I, etc. we provide customers with custom designs based on their visions. While the word "invitation" is in our name, our services don’t stop there. We design everything from promotional marketing materials to slideshows for any occasion. It is important for us to give our customers a unique experience because we value the importance of great customer service. Our customers have often been referred to us by other satisfied customers. The positive feedback has only reinforced our commitment to be the best at what we do.

While wedding planning, I felt so overwhelmed with deciding what design to choose for wedding invitations. I had only found one that I truly loved but it was very expensive. I asked my friends for recommendations of invitation designers and Dawn came highly recommended by a few of them. I contacted her with what I wanted and she made my vision come true. She was able to design the invitations like the one that I originally wanted at a reasonable cost. I am getting married at a winery and she was able to carry the vineyard theme throughout the invitation, including grapes on the return address label and on the RSVP and accommodation cards. She made them more beautiful than I ever could have imagined and even put all of the cards in a purple envelope which made them look elegant. Dawn also helped with the wording on the invitation because we wanted to mention my father who has passed away and didn't know how to say it. After sending the invitations out, I was told numerous times how much people loved them and how Dawn did such a wonderful job! I along with a few other people teared up when seeing the invitations. You know that an invitation is beautiful when it causes tears to be formed! She also designed my best friend's baby shower invitations and I was very pleased with how those turned out. Dawn was truly a life saver in our wedding planning process. We were completely unsure of how we wanted invitations to look. She had several samples and color palettes.
